All churches need to design and develop a process for assimilating new members into their church. Without a well-conceived process and instructive materials new members may struggle to comprehend and connect with the church's values, vision, and philosophy of ministry. This book provides great insights into the challenges facing Christianity in America today. But, better yet, in bringing these things to light, it also identifies ways that Christians and churches can reach out beyond their obstacles to impact our country for Christ. Your church needs to be a missional church with an external focus---this resource will help you to reconsider the harvest in America.

3. A Call to Prayer and Consecration by New Life @ Providence, Pastor Dan Backens

This VM partner church has made prayer a strong value in their fellowship by dedicating one month a year as a time of consecration and prayer. In August, they wrote and distributed two resources that you may find useful.

These tools helped to communicate with their members and aided in a very fruitful month of prayer. They are now feeling the momentum created in August.

This is a missions digest of news, trends and statistics affecting the Body of Christ worldwide. It is a great tool for church leaders who seek to develop or maintain a world Christian perspective - in their own lives and in the lives of others. You may consider ordering this digest once a year or during a missions emphasis and distribute it with your church bulletin.

Once a novelty, projected images for sermon support, worship time, or announcements is now a mainstay in our churches.
