In
February, Vanguard's International Director, Bobby Hill, and his
wife, Carrie, traveled to India for 16 days of intense ministry.
They were privileged to minister to 350 pastors who gathered for
their annual Pastors' Retreat in the Araku Valley, north of Vizag.
The pastors and evangelists, connected with Projects for Asia,
led by Tom Bush and Wayne Joseph, traveled from eight different
India states (primarily in the most unreached areas) where the
populations exceed 800 million. Bobby says, "Viewing the
masses of unreached people was staggering. Many of the pastors
who met with us face persecution, physical beatings, and regular
threats against them and their families. We made many new friends
among the Indian pastors."
They also ministered in
several remote villages and churches in Vizag and Varanasi. People
were saved, many sick were prayed over and hundreds of prophetic
words were given. Bobby and Carrie were also able to join the
PFA leaders in dedicating 7 acres of land in view of the Ganges
River, which will become a ministry base for Northern India.
