Benefits
- NOTE:
- Specific benefits for businesses, ministries, and
organizations will be delineated upon request. Your patience
is appreciated as certain aspects of this structure are under
construction.
- VM Conference Expenses
– Complimentary registration and hotel lodging for Pastor
and spouse for the Annual Leadership Summit.
- Partner Pastors and spouses are included in a Partner
Pastors retreat during the Summit week.
- A number ofl Leadership Summit registrations are provided
for ministry staff or lay leaders of Partner Churches (based
on sliding scale)
- Coaching – Leadership
and personal coaching for the partner pastor provided by a seasoned
and proven Apostolic Overseer. Support, Encouragement, and Accountability
will be provided through caring and nurturing relationships
with the overseer.
- Certified Coach Training is provided for the church/organization
by TLC Master Trainer. This is designed to incorporate coaching
in the organization itself.
- Mentoring Assistance
- Peer mentoring relationship assistance will be provided Partners.
Tools and resources to aid in mentoring and coaching relationships
will also be available at discounted prices. Access to TLC Certified
Coaching training and other tools and resources from TLC (Transformational
Leadership Coaching).
- Credentials – Licensing,
ordination or commissioning credentials are provided for Partner
Pastor or Partner Leader.
- Covenant Memberships
– A number of complimentary Covenant Memberships are provided
for staff ministers of Partner Churches (based on sliding scale),
which includes certified coaching.
- VM Resources - All Vanguard
published materials will be available for 20% discounts (plus
S&H).
- Additional Resources
– All additional resources and materials at 15% discount
(plus S&H).
- Networking - Opportunities
for networking and relationship building within the network.
- Assessments, Profiles, and
Tools – Assessments and profiles are helpful tools
in evaluating existing or prospective staff and leaders.
- Natural Church Development Survey - One NCD diagnostic
profile is provided annually with accompanying evaluation
and consultation from a trained NCD Coach.
- DiSC, C.A.R.E. or other assessment tools are provided
for each Partner Church (up to 10 per organization per year
based on a sliding scale).
- The Envoy – Associate
members will receive a quarterly E-Zine with timely articles
providing equipping and encouragement, a Ministry Toolbox section,
and Member Spotlights.
- Monthly E-News –
A monthly E-Newsletter will be sent to all members featuring
news, hot topics, helpful links and much more.
- Web Page Access –
Partner Churches be enjoy unrestricted access to the Vanguard
web site ) which will include many helpful and informative resources.
Other Internet benefits include sermon outlines from other Vanguard
members, Bible study tips and courses, church-strengthening
strategies, articles, worship and other music resources, world
missions updates, placement ads and much more (website currently
under redesign and construction).
- Placement Services -
Advertisements will be available free of charge in the placement
page on the Internet and other Vanguard publications. Additional
assistance will be provided including consulting and resources.
- Membership Certificate
- An attractively designed ordination, license, or commissioning
certificate will be provided along with a wallet-sized membership
card for the pastor and a suitably-sized Partner Church certificate
for display.
- Resourcing Opportunities
– Covenant Members will be given opportunities to consult,
coach and train as an assigned Resource Ministry for Partner
Churches.
- Publishing - Opportunity
is provided for publishing and promotion of approved materials
through VM.
- Vanguard Resource Pack
- A resource packet will be sent to each Partner Church on a
bi-monthly basis. It will include selected resources (e.g.,
books, tapes, tools, videos, et al.) helpful to develop and
sharpen the personal life and ministry of the Senior Pastor
and his associates.
- Personal Ministry and Care
- Pastors and spouses will be offered regular care and nurture
from the apostolic leader connected with their particular church.
In reality, this leader is to be an authentic friend and partner
in ministry. The needs of the pastor and his wife are the heart-felt
interest of the apostolic leader. They agree to walk together
through adversity and abundance.
- Network Resource Visits
– Partner Churches are allowed two resource visits per
year from other VM Covenant Members or Partner Church ministries.
VM will make recommendations of resource ministries which match
the needs of the Partner Church and pay for the travel expenses
for the visit. The Partner church will provide lodging and a
love offering or honorarium.
- Trans-local/Itinerant Ministry
- Where desired, VM will provide assistance by recommending
and/or arranging for translocal or itinerant ministries.
- Logo Use - With prior
approval from VM, Partner Churches may use the Vanguard Ministries
logo on its published and printed materials as well as websites.
- Additional Benefits and Features
- Additional benefits for Partner Churches such as group insurance,
group federal tax exemption, and group financial planning for
ministers, group purchasing, media packages, professional continuing
education programs, et al. are being evaluated for future inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Dues – Churches will pay 5% of
their unrestricted income ($25K cap) plus the pastor’s tithe (or the equivalent
amount). (Dues for businesses and organizations to be determined)
- Event Participation
- Attendance at Annual Leadership Summit is strongly encouraged.
- Apostolic Visits – A minimum of
two weekend visits per year by the apostolic overseer is required. Partner provides
transportation and lodging expenses. A love offering or honorarium is optional.
- Beliefs – All members are expected
to maintain faithful adherence to the VM statement of faith and core values.
